About Volleyball Challenge
Volleyball Challenge is a one-on-one sports game where I serve, jump, attack, and defend, trying to outplay my rival with smart timing on every rally.
I control one player and try to send the ball into the opponent's court where they cannot return it. Jumping at the right moment matters, especially when I want to block or hit an attacking shot. In single-player, I face computer-controlled opponents, while 2 Player mode lets me challenge someone on the same screen.
Game modes
In Volleyball Challenge, Career Mode gives me a series of matches to work through across different countries. I like this mode when I want a longer progression instead of playing just one quick match.

Matches to work through across different countries
For local multiplayer, I can choose a character or team and play directly against another person. The different locations and power-up options also give extra variety for the matches. I found 2 Player mode more chaotic because both players have to react at the same time, especially during fast rallies.
How to play
In 1 Player mode: Move: A, D; Serve: C; Hit the ball: V; Special move: B
In 2 Player mode:
Player 1:
- Move: Left/Right Arrow keys
- Serve: C
- Hit the ball: V
- Special move: B
Player 2:
- Move: A, D
- Serve: /
- Hit the ball: .
- Special move: ,
The timing reminds me of the precision needed in Geometry Dash Lite, although here I am reacting to an opponent and a moving ball instead of a fixed obstacle pattern.
My strategies in Volleyball Challenge
I try to return toward the middle of the court after hitting the ball. From there, I can cover either side without making a desperate move.
I also avoid jumping too early. If I leave the ground before the ball reaches me, I can easily miss the timing and leave myself exposed. Waiting until the ball begins to drop gives me a better chance of landing a strong spike or block.
I do not rely on one type of shot, either. Mixing normal hits, lobs, and spikes makes my attacks less predictable. If I keep using the same move, my opponent can start waiting for it.
FAQs
Can I play Volleyball Challenge alone?
Yes. Career Mode lets me play matches against computer-controlled opponents.
Can two people play together in Volleyball Challenge?
Yes. 2 Player mode supports local play on the same screen.
How can I improve my attacks in Volleyball Challenge?
I found that varying normal hits, lobs, and spikes works better than repeating one shot, while good positioning gives me more options during a rally.
